AUDITIONS

FAC Auditions

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
Tuesday, Feb. 7, 6:00 p.m.

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Theatre Company, located at 30 W. Dale Street, Colorado Springs, is holding Equity and Non-Equity auditions for Of Mice and Men, a play by John Steinbeck on Tuesday, February 7, starting at 6:00 pm.

If you have already auditioned during an open call this season, you do not need to audition.  We will contact you if we are interested in seeing you.


All roles are available except for the role of George.  All roles are paid.  Auditions sides will be provided. Character breakdown and descriptions.

Of Mice and Men will be performed March 15 - April 1, 2012.  Two 10:00am student matinees will be performed during the run.

Actors should arrive about 10 minutes prior to their audition time to fill out paperwork. Please also bring a headshot and resume.

Out of town actors as well as members of Actors' Equity Association are welcome to audition. We do offer a limited number of Equity Guest Artist Tier II contracts.

Hairspray
Monday, Feb. 13, 6:00 p.m.

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Theatre Company, located at 30 W. Dale Street, Colorado Springs, is holding Equity and Non-Equity auditions for the musical Hairspray on Monday, February 13, starting at 6:00 pm.

If you have already auditioned during an open call this season, you do not need to audition.  We will contact you if we are interested in seeing you.

Please preare 16-32 bars of an up-tempo song. You may sing something from the show or prepare a song in the style of Hairspray. Also, please have a 1 minute comedic monologue prepared.

Directions to the Fine Arts Center:
From I-25, Exit 143 (Uintah St), East on Uintah, Turn South onto Cascade Ave, Turn West onto Dale St.  When you are driving on Dale St, The Fine Arts Center is the only building on your right hand side.  Parking is on the left and is free.
