This spring, the Fine Arts Center will explore
the enduring, yet evolving, role of families.

In recent decades, the institution which has been the foundational structure in American society, a central element in human experience— the family— has changed in dramatic ways.

The FAC will tackle this important dynamic with the Colorado premiere of a 2012 Pulitzer Prize Finalist and five-time 2012 Tony Award nominee, Other Desert Cities; exhibitions of contemporary art, A Family Affair: Selections from the Progressive Art Collection and Mother: Photography by Carol S. Dass; and an assortment of classes and workshops throughout the spring, all exploring traditional and non-traditional family units and the ties that bind us.
