| Led by the FAC’s dedicated volunteer docents, this year’s program, in collaboration with the national theme “creative communities,” feature interactive museum theater where paintings and sculptures come to life in the Fine Arts Center galleries.
The works of art set to “come to life” for students are among the most well-known of the FAC collection, including John Singer Sargent’s Portrait of Miss Elsie Palmer, Arthur Dove’s Foghorns, Luis Jimenez’ sculpture, Fiesta/Jarabe, Allan Houser’s Sacred Rain Arrow, Kay Sage’s Afterwords, Paul Pletka’s Ute Agency, Native American Baskets and Blankets, Galo Galecio prints, and more.
