Art Adventure Club
Explore the galleries of art from the Fine Art Center’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. Return to the studio to create your own works of art. Each day will be a new adventure. Receive individual instruction as you explore watercolor, colored pencil, pastel and acrylic paints. All skill levels are welcome.

Book of Dragons
Using drawing and painting techniques, create drawings of dragons that tell a story. All drawings will be folded into an accordion-type book with a cover made of a watercolor painting.

Color and Ink for Animation
Learn how to color and ink your cartoon, comic and anime characters with traditional media used by today’s animators. Markers, ink pens, sharpies, watercolor pencils and pastel media will be explored. Individualized instruction will be provided to help increase your drawing skills. All levels are welcome.

Pastel Still Life
5-Day Workshop
This workshop introduces the chalk pastel medium as a drawing technique for still-life. Students will complete one drawing of the still-life set up on sanded, canson or velour paper. Basic composition, drawing skills and color theory will be discussed. Supply list.

Assembled Wheelthrowing
2-Day Workshop
This two-day comprehensive workshop is designed for experienced students who are comfortable throwing with five pounds of clay or more. Students will develop their technical understanding of wheelthrown pieces by assembling products made from more than one wheelthrown piece. Supply list.
