Annual Fund
General fund contributions to the FAC are now eligible for El Paso County Enterprise Zone tax credits (eligibility of capital campaign contributions remains in effect). Now, if you make either an *unrestricted gift to our annual fund of at least $500, or a capital campaign gift of at least $500, you may receive a 25% Colorado state income tax credit. Gifts of stock are also eligible for a 12.5% tax credit...plus, it just feels good to give.
To make an eligible donation,simply make your check payable to “El Paso County Enterprise Zone” and on the memo line write either “FAC capital campaign” or “FAC general” (whichever is appropriate). Mail your check to the Fine Arts Center, Development Department, 30 W Dale St, Colorado Springs CO 80903. We’ll fill out the necessary forms, submit the paperwork, and ensure that you receive your tax credit certificate from the Enterprise Zone.
Keep in mind that the Enterprise Zone charges the FAC an administration fee of 3.5% on each qualifying contribution. Because of this, please consider increasing your donation slightly to compensate for the fee.

I’m a member – isn’t that enough?
Being a member is a great start, but membership dues make up just 6% of the FAC’s revenue budget. We need your donation to enable us to continue bringing quality programming to Colorado Springs.
Help the FAC reach even greater heights by making a generous gift to the Annual Fund. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s 100% tax-deductible! Make your gift today by giving extra with your annual membership payment, giving in response to an appeal, establishing monthly or quarterly fund transfers or credit card charges, making a gift in stock, or donating online.
Join the sustaining force behind artistic discovery at the Fine Arts Center. After an expansion, many museums experience a transition period of three years that stretches the capacity of the organization. The Angel Society was created to ease that transition for the FAC by providing a stable and continual source of operating funds, enabling growth in programming and community outreach. Angel Society donors pledge anywhere from $1,000 to $100,000 annually for three years, which includes a Donor Circle membership.
The Curtain Call Society directly supports the Fine Arts Center Theatre Company and Performing Arts Department. These funds are 100% restricted for use the in the theatre and fund needs above and beyond those supported by general operating funds.
Play a leadership role in the FAC by joining the Donor Circle—the FAC’s highest category of individual giving. Donor Circle combines membership and general operating gifts for donors of $1,000 and above and offers a wealth of benefits and privileges, which the FAC reserves for its most committed friends. You can join by making an annual gift of $1,000 or greater, or by establishing a monthly or quarterly reoccurring gift for as little as $84 per month! Make a three-year pledge and become a member of the Angel Society.

Many companies match $1 for $1, or even $2 for $1, for the gifts that employees make to nonprofit organizations. Some even give financial donations to match volunteer time by employees. Ask your human resource department for the matching gift policy of your place of employment, then submit their required paperwork along with your donation to make your gift go even further.
