  • Your CV, artist’s statement, and press materials. These materials provide insight into your previous exhibitions, publications, reviews, and art in public/private collections.

All materials should be professionally presented, organized, and sent in a clearly labeled envelope to the address below:

30 West Dale Street
Colorado Springs, CO 80903

We regret that we are unable to respond to phone calls related to unsolicited submissions and that materials will not be returned.

Submitting art for consideration as a possible acquisition or donation:

The FAC Collection is focused upon art of the Americas from prehistoric cultures to contemporary art. The collection emphasizes art of the American Southwest, Rocky Mountains, and American modern and contemporary art with select exceptional examples of European art. Given the FAC’s commitment to actively collecting, preserving, and interpreting the art in our collection, the Curators and Museum Committee are extremely selective in our accession of art. We cannot assess or accept unsolicited submissions of original art delivered in person to the FAC.

Please call (719) 477-4326 to make an appointment with a Curator.

If sending materials, do not send original artwork. Please provide the following:

  • A cover letter stating your intent and describing provenance of the art.
  • A CD with jpg images (at least 300 DPI). Video work should be submitted as a Quicktime file on DVD.
