Musical Theatre Madness

Now offering TWO sessions of Musical Theatre Madness this summer! With different shows being performed each session, students can enjoy double the experience and fun.

June 12-23 (2 week-long session) | 9a-12:15p FULL – REGISTRATION CLOSED
Who doesn’t love a musical filled with exuberant dancing, rich singing and focused acting? Join us for our musical theatre intensive for emerging artists that is designed to take triple threats to the next level. A can’t miss for students interested in all aspects of America’s greatest art form, the musical. This session will culminate with a staged performance of Alice in Wonderland Jr.

July 17-28 (2 week-long session) | 9a-12:15p FULL – REGISTRATION CLOSED
Who doesn’t love a musical filled with exuberant dancing, rich singing and focused acting? Join us for our musical theatre intensive for emerging artists that is designed to take triple threats to the next level. A can’t miss for students interested in all aspects of America’s greatest art form, the musical. This session will culminate with a staged performance of Into the Woods Jr.

Creating Characters

June 12-23 (2 week-long session) | 12:45-4p FULL – REGISTRATION CLOSED
The fundamentals of acting will be explored in this fun and collaborative class. Learn how to develop characters, tell a story and work with others through theatre games and scripted text. Emerging artists will love this natural extension of their previous theatrical endeavors. This session will culminate with a staged performance during the final class session.

The Best of Both Worlds –
Musical Theatre and Creating Characters

June 12-23 (2 week-long session) | 9a–4p FULL – REGISTRATION CLOSED
For the student who doesn’t want to choose!  Emerging Artists will spend half of the day studying, rehearsing and a performing in a play and the other half of the day honing their singing and dancing skills in a one-act musical. A can’t miss experience for students interested in all aspects theatre. This session will culminate with students participating in both Emerging Artists productions.

Tuition

Musical Theatre or Creating Characters: $225 ($200 FAC members)
Best of Both Worlds: $350 ($325 FAC members)

We encourage anyone interested in this program to become a member of the Fine Arts Center.
